Student manuals are mandated by AHA.
You are encouraged to bring a snack and a drink to class with you.

If you have not taken an ACLS class previously, or your certification has expired, you have the option to take the blended learning program followed by the ACLS update program for your skills test. Please see the ACLS Blended Learning page.
The Blended Learning Program is not mandatory for renewal, it is only mandated if you are not currently certified in ACLS.
With the 2015 guidelines comes a prerequisite. AHA mandates all students take the pretest prior to class and pass by 70%.
The test can be accessed at www.heart.org/eccstudent. You will need the code is acls15. This code is also found on the front page of your book.
**Take the pretest and watch the videos on airway management, stroke, high quality BLS and ACS.
