AHA Heartcode Blended Learning is for Nursing students or Healthcare providers who enjoy online training. If your certification is current or newly expired Heartcode BLS Blended Learning program is an option but not mandatory see the BLS Course Page. ​Physicians, Nursing Students, Nurses, EMT's, Paramedics, Dentist etc. are classified as Healthcare providers. This course is accepted for college courses and licensing boards because you have skills testing with an AHA instructor. If you are not in the Healthcare field you probably need the Heartsaver CPR. Heartsaver CPR is generally taken by childcare providers, construction workers, security etc. Please visit the Workplace CPR/First Aid page. AHA Heartcode BLS Program Once registered you will be sent the key to your Heartcode BLS online homework assignment. The online portion should take you about 2 hours to complete. Complete the course and Print out your completion certificate and bring to the class on the date you selected. You will practice the skills you learned online and then be tested out in those skills. You be issued the official AHA certification card on the same day. Course fee is $60. which includes the online program, the skills session and 2 year AHA certification card. There is a $35.00 cancellation fee as the online portion can not be returned.
